This Privacy Policy describes how Upkept Rewards (the “Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Upkept Rewards service.
Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate the service, which may include your account identity (provided through our authentication provider), your unit and tenancy details, the maintenance tasks you complete and any photos you submit, and your points and redemption history.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate the rewards program, verify task completion, calculate and fulfill rewards, and comply with applicable law (including any tax-reporting obligations).
How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us run the service — for example, our authentication provider, our hosting and file-storage provider, and the gift-card provider that fulfills your rewards — and with your participating landlord as needed to administer the program. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as we need it to operate the program and your account. We may retain it longer where required for legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations — for example, to support reward and tax reporting. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices & Data Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing founders@upkeptrewards.com. Some information may be retained where required by law. Deleting your account may end your participation in the program and forfeit any unredeemed points.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older, consistent with the eligibility requirements in our Terms. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. We may communicate material changes through the Service or your participating landlord. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
